Referrals for Surgery Not Related to Gender Affirmation

OHIP-Covered Plastic Surgery

We offer limited out-of-hospital based plastic surgery covered by OHIP in addition to Gender Affirming procedures. This includes carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release and other minor, non-bony hand procedures. These are all performed at the Catalyst Surgical facility.

Procedures / Aesthetic Surgery Not Covered by OHIP

We are accepting all referrals for cosmetic procedures including non-cancerous moles, lipomas, and other benign masses. Please note these are not OHIP covered procedures. Patients may also contact Catalyst Surgical without a referral. Consultation fees are waived with a referral.

Please note: Catalyst Surgical is not a hospital site and lack resources for back-up ICU or general inpatient admission. Clients who have a BMI higher than 33 will be considered for surgery at the Catalyst facility after additional anesthesia consultation with our anesthesiologists.
